Miss Heather's School of Dance would like to welcome back for her fifth season, Christina Borthwick to our teaching staff.  Christina has done a wonderful job working with the younger dancers over the years and we are thrilled (as are the students) that she will be here for our upcoming season.  Christina choreographed, as well as danced, in our productions of of Grease (2006), Television Tunes (2007), and Mary Poppins (2008).  She will also be teaching the mini dance team in Smyrna.

Christina's love of dance started at just three years old, which extended to her high school years where she was a featured dancer in Crazy for You, The Pajama Game, 42nd Street and Mame.  Christina also assisted in the choreographing of Mame, Guys and Dolls and Footloose at Middletown High.

Christina's professional career includes two years as a ballroom dance instructor at Stanton Ballroom Dancing.  Christina was also a member of the cast in My Fair Lady for the Wilmington Drama League.  In addition to dancing, Christina loves to sing and act and in her own words "is always looking to learn and improve upon each".

Christina puts so much energy and enthusiasm into her dancing and teaching making her a wonderful part of our staff.  She also completed the certified and accredited Broadway Dance Center Teacher Workshop in New York City as well as attending the Dance Teacher Magazine's dance workshops in New York City.  Welcome back Christina!
